China does not interfere in the internal affairs of any other country. However, if China needs certain resources, and you have it, they will solicit you to purchase such resources.
Then any mutual agreements from this solicitation will result in both parties gaining from such arrangements.
Fairness is determined also by the type of mutual agreement engaged in.
